Overview
GIZE PLC executed the complete, greenfield-to-completion industrial logistics lifecycle for the Habesha Cement Factory, one of Ethiopia's most significant private sector industrial investments. This project involved managing the import, customs clearance, inland transportation, and on-site delivery of all factory components — from heavy machinery and kiln systems to electrical infrastructure and raw material handling equipment. The scope covered every phase: initial planning, supplier coordination, freight forwarding of oversized and heavy-lift cargo, temporary storage, and final installation logistics. This achievement positioned GIZE PLC as the premier industrial project cargo operator in Ethiopia.
